I’ll be honest—it took me two days just to get this far.
I sat down more than once, ready to write… and nothing came. No clear direction. No neat idea waiting to be typed out. That felt uncomfortable, especially because writing has become part of my daily rhythm here on Malisia Space.
This morning was different.
I spent quiet time with the Lord. I talked with Him—not just personally, but about business too. That part is still new for me. These “business meetings” with God aren’t something I’ve mastered yet, but I’m learning. And I trust Him for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in all areas of my life—personal and professional.
Maybe you’re learning how to do that too.
Lately, I’ve been working through the B2B Copywriting course from AWAI. It’s stretching me in ways I didn’t expect. The lessons are getting harder, but there’s something deeply satisfying about finishing each assignment. That quiet sense of accomplishment tells me I’m growing—even when it feels uncomfortable.
Here’s something that really clicked for me this week:
B2B copy convinces the brain.
B2C copy reassures the heart.
Faith-based B2C reassures the heart.
Faith-based B2B honors responsibility and stewardship.
That distinction changed how I think—not just about writing, but about communication itself.
One exercise stood out more than I expected: turning features into benefits using the “So What?” method. I’ve always struggled with that. But playing the “So What?” game—yes, even with Chatty—made it finally make sense. It stopped feeling mechanical and started feeling… human.
Have you ever noticed how learning becomes easier once it clicks?
This morning, at 3:11 a.m. on January 20th, I’m back at my desk again. Yesterday felt strange without posting here, but now I understand why. Sometimes the lesson needs time to settle before the words show up.
Today, I’ll be working on Writing Body Copy – Great Beginnings. I tried pushing through it last night, but sleep won. And that’s okay.
Growth doesn’t always come from pushing harder.
Sometimes it comes from resting, trusting, and showing up again.
One lesson at a time.
